Beyond words

"MILWAUKEE — Wisconsin voters passed a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage on Tuesday, squelching the hopes of gay-rights activists who hoped for their first-ever victory over such a measure in a state vote."

I just don't know what to say. I'm saddened and angered beyond words.

I cannot believe this passed either. Then again, I can't believe Sensenbrenner was re-elected in my district. It just goes to show there are a lot more haters out there than I ever thought possible. It's horrible.

BUT! Santorum! I rub my hands with glee. So there's something. Right now I'm taking whatever solace I can. I don't have a lot of hope that Pelosi's going to make a lot of friends. I feel like I have no home, politically. My people, they disappoint at every opportunity. Husband said, "I have no people. I throw up my hands at the whole thing." I'm starting to feel the same way.

I was saddened to hear that 7 of 8 states passed a gay marriage ban. How disappointing. :(

Overall, I am happy with the way that the election went otherwise though. (except here in my very conservative state)

Yeah, the haters in MI passed a bill like that already. And this time around we added an anti-affirmative action ammendment! Wheeee.
